Fylgje dessert drink: Fylgje is a fruit liqueur made of apples and plums, harvested in Hardanger, Norway at Åkre Farm by Arita and Gjermund. The exclusive and high quality product has a rich taste profile, equivalent to dessert wines. The client wanted to have the design to not only convey the high quality, but to elevate the expectations, and they are so confident in their own product that they know the taste experience will further exceed those expectations. 

Through a complete process with brand strategy, name and concept development, illustration and packaging, we created the brand Fylgje. Fylgje means «magical guiding spirit» comes from old Norwegian folk lore. The spirits often took shape in form of animals, and so we illustrated a lynx and a marten, two animals found in the Norwegian fauna. They are often associated with mystique and magical features, that enhances the intriguing concept of a Fylgje.
